“It’s very difficult for me to write this post… After more than seven years together, Juanki and I have decided to end our time together as coach and player. Thank you for turning childhood dreams into reality. We started this path when I was still a child, and during all this time, you have accompanied me on an incredible journey, on and off the track. And I have truly enjoyed every step with you.
We made it to the top, and I think if our athletic journeys were going to separate, it had to be up there. In the place we have always worked for and always aspire to achieve. There are so many memories that come to mind that keeping just one wouldn’t be fair. You made me grow as an athlete, but above all as a person. And there’s something I really appreciate: I enjoyed the process. I stay with that, with the journey we have taken together.
Now comes times of change for both, new adventures and new projects. But I’m sure we will face them the right way, doing our best, as we always have. Always add up. I wish you the best, from the bottom of my heart, in everything that awaits you. I feel calm knowing that we leave nothing behind, that we make everything available to each other.
Thanks for everything, Juanki!
