The founder of Grupo Galpão Teuda Bara died this Thursday (25) at the age of 84. The announcement was made by the theater group on its social networks. Celebrities took to social media to mourn the actress’ death.
Teuda Bara will be held in mourning at the Palácio das Artes, in Belo Horizonte, from 10 a.m. this Friday (26). The actress leaves two sons, André and Admar. The cause of death has not been released.
Actress Débora Lamm posted a series of photos with Teuda and lamented: “Wow Teudinha!! The desire is already overflowing.”
Antonio Grassi, actor and cousin of the actress, said he felt “immense sadness” over the death of his cousin. “Teuda started at the theater with me, in the play Viva Olégario, in Belo Horizonte — one of her first works. From then on, she built a luminous career, marked by stage intelligence, courage and an absolutely unique presence. Her laughter, her lively humor, her generosity on stage and off will never be replaced. Teuda is one of those artists who does not pass: they remain. They remain in our memory, in our affection, in the history of our theater. Very sad. But deeply grateful for everything she left us.
Actor Kiko Mascaren also left a message. “Today, Teuda Bara was delighted. She left with all the love and admiration of those who had the chance to live with her, to watch her on stage. An unforgettable artist! My affectionate hug to her many friends, family and the members of @grupogalpao #descanseempaz.”
The announcement of Teuda’s death was made by Grupo Galpão on social networks. In the post, actor Matheus Nachtergaele wrote: “my deepest feelings.” Singer Chico César also lamented the death of the actress: “my condolences, friends. Receive my hug.” Débora Falabella commented: “Teuda, so loved!”
Debora Bloch, Alexandre Nero, Mel Lisboa, Patrícia Pillar and Samuel Rosa also paid tribute and mourned the death of the actress.
Born in Belo Horizonte, the actress founded Grupo Galpão alongside her colleagues Fernando Linares, Antonio Edson, Eduardo Moreira and Wanda Fernandes. His career was marked by the versatility and comic vein of his characters, inspired by popular and classical dramaturgy.
