Change of scene for the next edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion show. The fashion platform will organize its shows between April 14 and 17, 2026 and will take place overlooking the sea, in Port Vell, a new stage for this fashion getaway which, in the last editions, took place in the modernist district of Sant Pau.
The fashion events will be located in several spaces in the Port of Barcelona, including Port Vell and Marina Vela. “After a few years, consolidating itself as a platform for promoting creative talents, the 080 Barcelona Fashion community has taken a step forward with a change of location that broadens horizons. The new scenario, with the sea as an extension, contributes to strengthening 080 Barcelona Fashion and making it more open to the city. The event wants to position itself, from Barcelona, as a speaker of creativity”, explained the organization in a press release, which highlighted “the sum of efforts between administrations” to “a larger international project”.
Brands like Desigual, in 2024, will use this new space to organize their seasonal fashion shows. The change of location coincides with the entry into the organization of the Ayuntamiento de Barcelona, which joins the Generalitat in the impetus of this event, celebrated sometimes every year (April and October) during which designers present their proposals for autumn/winter and spring/summer. The union was confirmed in a public statement this month: “The new cycle of 080 Barcelona Fashion is aligned with the Fashion Plan 2025-2030 promoted by Barcelona City Hall and is part of the Competitiveness, Growth and Innovation Plan of the General Directorate of Trade and Commerce, Crafts and Fashion Consorcio (2024-2028), with the desire to position Barcelona as the fashion capital.”
Among the brands most present at 080 Barcelona Fashion are Lola Casademunt de Maite, Custo Barcelona, Escorpion or Dominnico. The last edition of the event brought together 11,000 participants, including professionals and citizens.
