Inés Hernand once again sows controversy. The presenter and actor fueled the victims of ETA, a Basque terrorist group which killed nearly 900 peopleduring an intervention in the competition Operation Triumphwhich broadcasts Amazon Prime Video.
Hernand, born in 1992 and presenter on RTVE, stood in front of the candidates of talent show that there are “many false declarations with ETA” and that “the Basque nationalist left was pacifist.”
“Today, some political leaders use the word ETA lightly while there are many victims of ETA and there are a lot of false statements and the Basque nationalist left was pacifist,” said the comedian.
“In other words, you listen to some leaders of the Basque nationalist left and they tell you: ‘Sorry, I I carried people here on my shoulder in the coffin“, he added during his controversial intervention.

The video with the words of Inés Hernand went viral and sparked a wave of indignation. “This 100 euro character I would say the sky is red“wrote one tweeter.

This is not the first time that Hernandez has been the protagonist of a controversy. In 2024, when she was one of the presenters of the Goya, she starred in a particular scene when she began to praise the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez: “You are an icon, president, we love you!”he exclaimed.
This explosion of idolatry provoked a protest from the CRTVE Information Councilwhich alleged that these actions violated the neutrality of the information required by the entity.
