Flamengo faces Pyramids, from Egypt, in the Intercontinental Cup this Saturday (13/12). The match deserves a place in the final of the competition — the winner will face Paris Saint-Germain. The ball rolls at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, Qatar. The winner will also receive the Challengers Cup trophy.
The game
Flamengo already entered the match imposing control. Rubro-Negro’s first clearly dangerous move came after just 5 minutes. Cebolinha was well positioned in the small area and tried to shoot, but defender Samy blocked it. In the rest of the match, Arrascaeta tried a second time, but ended up wide.
