The ‘Marty Supreme’ star highlighted three names that caught his attention the most in unusual interview
One of the most acclaimed actors of his generation, Timothée Chalamet has expanded his acting horizons. After being appointed to Oscar by the LGBTQIA+ drama Call me by your namethe actor explored various roles – from young cannibal to To the bones to a messianic leader in Dune And Dunes: Part 2. In his most recent work, Chalamet emerges in a completely different register when playing a regular table tennis competitor in Marty Supreme.
Last Thursday 4, Chalamet participated in a new video with Lucid engines. Called High Speed MaintenanceGuests are offered the opportunity to answer quick questions while taking high-speed laps in the Lucid Air Sapphire car, driven by a professional driver. The pattern has been used before with names such as Josh Hart And Jalen Brunson.
The movie star was asked who the best actor of all time (GOAT) was and she gave three answers. According to him, Denzel Washington (The Protector, Gladiator II) would be the best, and Christian Bale (American Psycho0) and Joaquin Phoenix (Joker) are not far behind, but the latter have a significant reserve.
“Denzel is the best of all time, Ballet is the second best of all time and Joaquin is the best weirdest ever,” he joked (via The wrap).
That wasn’t the only comical question that Chalamet responded during the lightning round. He was also asked who the best person to text was, and the answer was Leonardo DiCaprio. “He scolded me today,” he commented. “He said, ‘I heard you shaved your head. Tell me it’s not true.'”
Among the actors who Chalamet mentioned, he has already worked with two. In 2017 he played alongside Ballet In Hostiles and, in 2022, he played with DiCaprio in the movie Netflix Don’t look for. According to the actor, DiCaprio gave him two pieces of career advice during recording: “No hard drugs and no superhero movies.”
Chalamet has remained off the superhero radar so far, but it’s not making any promises. “I follow both (advice)!”, he then confirmed. “But the film that made me want to act was The Black Knight. If the script was great, if the director was great, I should think about it.”
