
Director of Agir, lawyer Daniel Tourinho (featured photo) received 28.4% of the resources of the party he chairs. Act, formerly the Christian Labor Party (PTC), does not use party funds and the party raises its resources through donations.
The party president received, between 2024 and 2025, R$610.3 thousand out of the R$2.1 million given to Agir. The transfers were made through Tourinho’s law firm, property rentals and even the car itself, a Toyota Hilux truck, rented by the party last year.
Contacted by MetropolisesTourinho said he would not explain over the phone the reason for the transfers to his law firm. As for the private car rented by the party, he responded with a question.
“What’s the matter?” » asked the president of Agir, who stressed that the accounts were approved by the Higher Electoral Tribunal (TSE) and did not wish to comment further on the transactions with the party he commands.
Office, property and car: how the transfers took place
- Tourinho received R$217.7 thousand this year. The resource was transferred through 27 transfers in the form of “advances to suppliers”.
- In 2024, Tourinho received R$392.6 thousand through 37 transfers of varying values, from R$4 thousand to R$40 thousand.
- Also last year, Daniel Tourinho received, in his personal account, R$86,500 from the party he chairs.
- Of this amount, R$12,000 was paid for the use of Tourinho’s Hilux and more than R$8,000 for reimbursement for hiring a driver.
- There are also, in the 2024 accounts, other reimbursements for legal costs, purchase of tickets in travel agencies and rental of two rooms in a commercial building in the center of São Paulo.
Who are the donors
Without resorting to party funds, Agir is maintained thanks to donations from individuals and state directories. Daniel Tourinho himself donated R$120,000 to Agir in 2024 and 2025.

This year, the main one was Michel Neves Winter, president of the Santa Catarina board of the party. According to columnist Ricardo Noblat, MetropolisesWinter visits the Bolsonarista camp in Brasilia which sheltered the January 8 invaders. He donated R$60,000 to Agir.
The same amount, 60,000 BRL, was donated by Carlos Kleber de Sousa Chaves, former Secretary of Housing Development of Fortaleza (CE) and vice mayor of Solonópole (CE).
