Matheus Souto Maior won the additional elections and assumes the presidency of Sport, with Kadico Pereira as vice-president, after a majority of valid votes.

Matheus Souto Maior is the new president of Sport Club do Recife. With 795 votes, or 47.24% of the total, he won the additional elections held this Sunday and will lead the club in the cycle that runs until 2026. Kadico Pereira was elected vice-president on the same list.
The election defined the new red-black command after an additional process called to reorganize the management of the club. The vote included the participation of eligible members, who came to choose the new board of directors in a scenario of expectations of administrative and sporting stability.

With the confirmation of the result, Matheus Souto Maior takes on the challenge of leading sport in the years to come, with internal restructuring, institutional strengthening and sports planning for the coming seasons as main missions. Kadico Pereira will join the management as vice-president, forming the new executive management of the club.
The inauguration of the new office should take place in the coming days, when the president-elect will begin to detail the first actions and priorities in matters of Sport.
