More than a quarter of a century later, Holy Week and what surrounds it have changed, from the official race to the way in which the young brotherhoods fit into the picture, and to face this comes the reform of the statutes of the Association of Brotherhoods, which the brotherhoods must approve this Monday, and it especially affects the organization of the Easter week and also establishes a broad sanctions regime.
The meeting comes 26 months after that during which agreement was not reached sufficient majoritythree-fifths of the total census, to approve it. There were 27 against fifteen and at least 32 were needed out of the 52 called. It will now take 33 affirmative votes out of 54.
Getting to Holy Week
The text presented now has many similarities with this one. It established, as at the time, the procedure for a brotherhood to be able to join the official race of Holy Week in Cordoba, but it then did so through a transitional provision until the prison police regulations are approved. Income
On the contrary, the steps to join the Group will be simpler. The brotherhoods which wish to do so must be constituted as such by the Bishop of Cordoba and have their statutes in order, in addition to a favorable report from their advise and the diocesan delegate of the Brotherhoods. From there, the brotherhoods, as is currently the case, will not have to approve it, but will be informed of it in assembly.
This would avoid what happened in 2022 and 2023 with the brotherhood of Quinta Angustia, which wanted to join the Group and ended up with the vote in against brotherhoods. Now I would no longer need the support of those already in the organization.
Sanctions
Another of the great novelties proposed to the brotherhoods is Title IX, which establishes something that does not exist in the text currently in force: the sanctions regime. The power corresponds to the assembly, “before the management bodies of the Group, the president, the various members of the Board of Directors and the accountants“, provided, of course, that “there has been no public repentance.”
The Board of Directors may do so when the non-compliance comes from the brotherhoods, their members or the deputies of the commissions which could be created within the Board of Directors.
THE minor defects These are lack of diligence in matters of little or little importance, negligence of functions, impropriety with the public, “provided that subsidiary liability may arise for the Group”, in addition to negligence of facilities or non-compliance with the rules of the Penance Station and other exits, in matters of little importance. They will be resolved by a verbal warning or a written warning.
As proposed in 2023, it will not be necessary for brotherhoods to approve or deny the entry of a brotherhood into the Group.
THE serious They will be similar, but on more important subjects, which are not always specified. In this case, the sanction may consist of a suspension of the rights inherent in membership of the Group, a restriction of use of the facilities or property, the ban on belonging to the Board of Directors and the suspension of the right to request the convening of meetings. In any case, it will only be for a year.

The rest concerns institutional relations, action and charity, youth, spirituality, training, legal affairs and cultural heritage.
