
The Secretariat of Transport and Mobility of the Federal District (Semob-DF) has defined the company responsible for the expansion of the BRT Sul terminal, in Santa Maria (DF).
The winner of the tender was Mendonça & Gonçalves Construções e Incorporações Ltda., as published in the Official Gazette of the Federal District (DODF), Friday (26/12).

The contract value is 13.5 million reais. According to the notice, the contract duration can be up to two years.
Currently, the terminal serves 29 express and circular bus routes with a fleet of 208 vehicles, which make approximately 1,817 trips daily.
With the expansion, the construction of two new boarding and disembarkation platforms is planned, in addition to the establishment of a commercial area with a food court.
The terminal parking lot will also be expanded. Currently having 238 spaces, the space will now have 458, including spaces reserved for the elderly, people with disabilities, motorcycles and bicycles.
