The former inspector of the city of Rio Claro (SP), the German Márcio José Gomes, is named in documents from the Public Prosecutor’s Office of São Paulo (MPSP) as responsible for the use of the legal registration of hunter, sports shooter and collector (CAC) to acquire weapons and divert them to the Comando Vermelho (CV).
To do this, he even simulated flights, in the middle of the war between the Rio de Janeiro faction and the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) inside São Paulo.
He was killed in an alleged exchange of fire with military police officers on Thursday morning (12/11), during the execution of a search and seizure warrant at the official’s home in Rio Claro.
The incident occurred as part of an operation by the Organized Crime Investigation Group (Gaeco), to which the Prime Minister gave his support.

Gaeco reports, obtained by Metropolisesclaim that Márcio, although formally authorized to acquire firearms as CAC, would have taken advantage of this condition to integrate the logistics of the criminal faction of Rio de Janeiro in open war with the PCC of Rio Claro and the region.
According to police information attached to the complaint, the weapons were purchased regularly, registered in Alemão’s name and then diverted to organized crime.
Simulated flights
The strategy, according to the report, included flight simulation. Some of the large-caliber weapons that were in Alemão’s collection were later reported stolen in episodes that, for investigators, “raise many questions.”
The pattern described in the investigation, which is confidential, suggests a cycle composed of legal acquisitions, reports of theft and, in practice, the reuse of weapons to fuel criminal actions, thus fueling the violent conflict between rival factions inside São Paulo.

Although the extract from the initial complaint, obtained by the report, does not individually detail the role of each person under investigation, Gaeco says that the evidence collected indicates that Alemão and another person involved acted at the base of the criminal structure, supplying and storing weapons and ammunition.
Official databases cited in the MPSP document indicate that he appears in numerous police incidents, sometimes as a victim of firearm theft, sometimes as accused of illegal possession, receiving stolen property, theft and gang formation.
Flight of then-Speaker of the House
Among the episodes listed by the investigation, the police highlight a crime that occurred on December 17, 2019. On this occasion, the president of the Rio Claro town hall, André Luís de Godoy, was the victim of a theft.
As shown MetropolisesAlemão was indicted for active participation in the planning and logistics of the action. The theft attracted attention because of its level of sophistication. The criminals, as stated in official documents, allegedly posed as federal agents and used a cloned federal police vehicle.
The information collected by Gaeco also places Alemão in the broader context of the factional war. A confidential witness reported that he had ties to members of the CV and that his activities included providing shelter for wanted criminals, in addition to displaying firearms and occasionally firing shots to intimidate people.
The same source highlights the inspector’s old relationship with Dé Zoião, whose name is not mentioned, and his proximity to other names linked to the CV cell that operates in the region, including Anderson Ricardo de Menezes, Skinny, who even proclaimed himself the new Marcola.
According to investigators, Alemão constituted a logistical link between the formal market and the factional conflict inside São Paulo.
