The concert will last a total of two hours, including a twenty-minute break. The following works will be performed on the program: “One Night in Venice, Overture”, by Johann Strauss II; ‘Gold and silver, waltz op. 75′ from Franz Lehar; “Vienna, the city of my dreams, op. 1’ by Rudolph Sieczyński; ‘Tik-Tak Polka, fast polka, op. 365’, ‘Rosas del Sur, waltz op. 388’, ‘Under the thunder and lightning, polka op. 324’, ‘Pasman Csárdás’, ‘The Arabian Nights, waltzes op. 346’ and “The Blue Danube” by Johann Strauss II. Founded in 2013 by violinist Shkelzen DoliThe Philharmonic Ensemble was created to embody the style and sound of the parent orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic. This orchestra has a unique and traditional technique for performing Viennese waltzes. His signature interpretation allows us to capture the essence and authentic style of this particular repertoire, so that his concerts offer an unprecedented musical experience.
Shkëlzen Doli (born August 9, 1971 in Elbasan, Albania and raised in Gjakova, Kosovo) is an Albanian violinist. He started playing the violin in 1980 and, between 1987 and 1991, studied at the Novi Sad Music School with Ewgenia Tschugueva. In 1989 he won first prize at the Yugoslav Youth Music Competition in Sarajevo. In 1992, he began his studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, where he took classes with Dora Schwarzberg, Michael Frischenschlager and Josef Hell.
