The third candidate to come out on top was Momi Giardina, who prepared an omelette of mushrooms, cheese and onions with candied tomatoes and capers, which also received the praise of the jury. “Spectacular. Meanwhile, Emilia Attias presented a Shakshuka, a very common Middle Eastern dish made with poached eggs in tomato sauce, peppers and onions and usually seasoned with cumin, paprika and harissa. “It led me to this Middle Eastern breakfast, with these crunchy dried fruits; with a good texture, but maybe if I had cooked the egg again, I would have had it cooked there so it wasn’t so classic,” said Giorgini. But Martitegui had a different opinion: “For me it’s super tasty. The spices are used very well.”
Julia Calvo then presented her version of stirred gramajo. “It’s dissociated… The potatoes are out,” Martitegui remarked before tasting it, but the actress replied that there were also potatoes in the scrambled eggs. Lastly, Sofi Martínez remained, who, like Attias, presented her version of Shakshuka. And before the jury members tasted the presentation, the moderator asked to speak.
