The Civil Guard, as part of “Operation Medina”, dismantled an indoor cannabis sativa cultivation (marijuana) in the town of Erustes, by arresting one person as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health and another … of electric fluid fraud.
The investigation began when agents of the Malpica de Tajo Civil Guard station became aware of the possible existence of an indoor marijuana plantation in a house in the town of Erustes, due to the strong smells this has come to this several times.
During the search, a revolver was found, loaded with ammunition and ready for use, with six .38 caliber cartridges.
Once the necessary evidence was collected, an entry and search was carried out at the home, locating in the semi-basement two rooms dedicated to the cultivation of marijuana. Inside, some 1,200 cannabis sativa plants were discovered in different flowering phases, various cultivation equipment and the necessary electrical installation for this purpose.
When registering, In one of the rooms of the house, a loaded revolver was found. and ready to use, with six 38 caliber cartridges.
The estimated market value of the plantation would be around 90,000 euros approximately. The Citizen Security Unit of the Toledo Command participated in the system.
