Lucas’ mother’s partner, the four-year-old murdered last week in the town of Garrucha, Almeria, last week he allegedly raped and beat the child to death, according to the Civil Guard investigation. The Armed Institute does not even rule out that the woman witnessed part of the attack.
This is how it is collected in the arrest warrant dictated by the Civil and Instruction Section number 4 of the District Court of Vera (Almería), to which EFE had access. He recounts how, before the fatal attack, the JDRC “habitually mistreated and beat” the minor.
According to investigators, the man took advantage of the times he was under Lucas’ care in the home he shared with his mother and, once he broke a bone in his arm. The order adds that these attacks may have been carried out “with the knowledge” of Lucas’ mother, BYBO.
According to the document, around 11 a.m. on December 3, the child’s mother went to prepare meals at the kiosk where she worked, leaving her partner and the child alone in the house. The man allegedly took the opportunity to rape the minor and hit him “several times” in the stomach and other parts of the body. An attack which, according to the preliminary autopsy report, would have caused the death of the victim due to a hypovolemic shock, liver rupture and multiple abdominal trauma with intestinal effusion.
The Civil Guard considers, according to this decree, that BY could have witnessed at least part of this attack since around 12:00 p.m. he returned home after his partner told him that the child was “not doing well”. And after the notice, the woman immediately went to the home. The minor finally died around 3:30 p.m.
According to the order, the accused himself confirmed before the judge that the woman had gone to the home in the “hours preceding the death of the minor” and that she had been present during part of the episode without “having any presumed intention to avoid him or to help his son”. In this sense, the order affects the transcription of the messages that the woman would have sent to her relatives and other people, from which “it is indicatively deduced that the person investigated herself the alleged participation would have been attributed in the cause of the minor’s death” and that he also accompanied his partner while he carried the lifeless body of his son, without doing anything.
The investigation indicates that once Lucas died, the two people investigated would have gone with his body to an old bunker located on the beach of Garrucha, on the border with the neighboring municipality of Mojácar, where They left the corpse.
The order also notes that Lucas’ mother had “accidentally prior knowledge of habitual abuse of the person indicted with regard to her minor son”, as can be deduced from the statements of the witnesses in this case as well as from what she herself declared on other occasions before the police and the judges.
