This Tuesday, new images of the anti-Semitic massacre on Bondi Beach (Australia) during a Jewish holiday resurfaced. It shows how an elderly couple became unsung heroes when they confronted one of the terrorists.
The footage shows how two elderly people struggle against the older attacker. As revealed by various media, these people are Boris Gourmana 69-year-old retiree and his wife Sofia61.
In the captured moment, we can see how the pensioner, who was wearing a purple outfit, fought with Sajid Akram, the oldest of the attackers, as he tried to get out of his vehicle. During the argument, they both fall to the ground and that’s when Sofía springs into action to try to snatch the gun from him.
Unfortunately, The couple ended up being victims of the terrorist during the attack, as shown in later footage in which they were lying on the ground.
Boris and Sofía Gurman (69 and 61 years old) tried to stop the Islamist with their own hands as he got out of his car, seconds before the Hanukkah massacre at Bondi Beach, Sydney.
They fought to stop him from shooting and paid with their lives for this act of courage.

Boris and Sofia were among 16 people killed in an anti-Semitic attack carried out by father and son Sajid Akram and Naveed Akram last Sunday.
Ahmed, the other hero
Neither Boris nor Sofia were the only ones who resisted the terrorists. The other big hero of this afternoon was Ahmed al-Ahmed.
This 43-year-old fruit seller managed to save many lives thanks to his act of bravery. This man managed to disarm one of the attackers thanks to his courage in these tense moments.
Ahmed had to be hospitalized after being shot twice in the arm and hand. His performance garnered worldwide praise and even the Premier of New South Wales, Chris Minns, came to see him in hospital.
“Ahmed is a true hero,” Minns wrote in a message on his social network X profile, which he accompanied with a photo with the man. “Last night, his incredible courage undoubtedly saved countless lives,” he added.
