10 years of history, growth and calling to ministry
The El Peligro Volunteer Firefighters Association was founded on December 10, 2015, responding to residents’ urgent need for their own fire department in the city.
Starting with just five pieces of structural equipment, an old 1978 model Dodge truck, and an improvised barracks that continues to operate in a “borrowed” fifth to this day, the facility grew steadily, reaching its fifth anniversary on December 10, 2020, and consolidating year after year.

The Active Corps currently consists of more than 30 men and women who do their work entirely on a voluntary basis, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The institution is part of the Federation of Voluntary Firefighters Associations of the Province of Buenos Aires (FABVPBA) and plays a key role in the professional and human training of its members.
In addition, El Peligro’s volunteer firefighters and their cadet school carry out important community work aimed at local youth and adolescents, promoting human values, health, schooling and healthy lifestyle habits.

Covering an area of 104 square kilometers, crossed by busy roads such as 2, 36, 6 and 53, the barracks carries out prevention and emergency tasks that include building, vehicle and forest fires, traffic accidents, rescue of people and animals, incidents involving hazardous substances and ongoing cooperation with institutions and neighbors.
