2025 was an intense year and with Numerous joys for Gianluca Simeone and Eva Bargiela. After they started dating, they cemented their love this year with the birth of their first child, Faustino, who was born on October 25th.
But he also made the decision to retire from football and concentrate on family life by returning to Argentina.
And now, after spending Eva’s birthday and Christmas, attended by the whole family, including Atlético de Madrid coach Diego Pablo Simeone, both celebrated the baptism of their baby in an ideal setting: the Basilica Nuestra Señora de Luján.
“We experienced a very special day, the baptism of Faustino”commented the model on her Instagram account, where she shared various postcards from the religious ceremony that took place on the afternoon of Friday, December 26th.

“A day that will be remembered forever”said Gianluca for his part.
Giuliano Simeone and María Victoria Bargiela, Faustino’s uncle, were the godparents of the ceremony.
Also present were the laureate’s paternal grandparents, Diego Simeone, accompanied by his partner and daughters as well as Carolina Baldini.
After little Faustino received the first Christian sacrament, the celebration was moved to an outdoor area where family and relatives continued the celebration.
