The Government of Castile-La Mancha highlighted the impact that the Employment Plan for Non-Profit Entities (ESAL) has had during this year 2025, in a call that invested 2.47 million euros give a … opportunity to employment for 266 unemployed in the region, through the 89 projects presented by non-profit entities. This was highlighted by the General Director of Employment, Elena García Zalve, who met this Saturday with representatives of Acescam, one of the entities benefiting from this appeal.
The general director of Employment had a meeting with the general secretary of Acescam, María Ángeles Sánchez, and with the head of the organizational sector of the entity, Diony Sánchez. With them he shared the impact of the program aimed at non-profit entities, aimed at supporting projects that involve the hiring of unemployed people, with particular attention to those who have the most difficulty finding an opportunity to enter the job market.
This year, the ESAL Employment Plan gave a job opportunity to 266 unemployed people from Castile-La Mancha thanks to an investment of 2.47 million euros from the regional government”, highlighted Elena García Zalve, emphasizing that they have there were 79 entities non-profit beneficiaries of the call which was resolved in 2025, with 89 projects approved.
This call “had a particular impact in the province of Ciudad Real, where 45 projects were approved with aid of 1.44 million euros, to cover 155 hires”, indicated the general director, specifying that Acescam was one of the beneficiary entities, and he thanked for their commitment to also transform this employment opportunity for eight unemployed people into a better service for the elderly. “Acescam directs this commitment to employment towards the socio-health sector, and this, by guaranteeing the best care for the elderly in our region,” he assessed, stressing that, since 2022, the Regional Executive has supported 24 hirings of unemployed people in projects developed by Acescam in the socio-health field, with an investment of more than 211,000 euros.
