The tensions caused on Friday in the Brazilian foreign exchange market by the pre-candidacy of Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) for president opened the possibility for exporters to import part of their liquidity from abroad into the country. That day, the commercial dollar increased by 2.31%, from R$5.31 to R$5.43, which allowed the exporter to achieve its second largest daily internalization of capital this year, bringing in $2.846 billion to Brazil, according to data released by the Central Bank this Wednesday.
