“We will try to have a good race. We know that the pace we have is not very good, but things can happen in the race because the championship is defined in front of us, hopefully there will be a little turmoil and we can gain a few positions. We have to take advantage of the opportunities and that is the best we can do. The team has done a good job all year, but well, the car we have was a bit difficult. The race will be tough but we are giving it our all,” said Franco Colapinto in an interview with ESPN.
The Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix track is just over 5 kilometers (5,281 meters) long, the track has two DRS zones, 16 corners and two straights. Lewis Hamilton is the most successful driver at Yas Marina with five wins, but the last person to win at the track is Lando Norris, who celebrated with his McLaren.
Lando Norris comes to the final appointment with a lead as he is the leader with 408 units, but Max Verstappen took pole at Yas Marina and is aiming for his fifth title with Red Bull as he is barely 12 points (396) behind the British McLaren driver.
