The Honestino Guimarães Bridge, in the Federal District (DF), will have isolated lanes for repairs between this Monday (12/29) and Wednesday morning (12/31), New Year’s Eve.
The bridge crosses Lake Paranoá, connecting Setor de Clubes Sul to Lago Sul. According to the Traffic Department (Detran-DF), the service will be carried out by Companhia Urbanizadora da Nova Capital (Novacap).
The closure will be necessary to make preventive repairs to the bridge’s expansion joint. Services will be carried out on two of the three routes: the central one and the one towards Plano Piloto.

According to Detran, to minimize the impact on traffic, the closure will take place alternately, with only the central lane isolated until Tuesday morning (12/30).
Once services in the center lane are completed, around 7 or 8 a.m. Tuesday, the lane will be opened to accommodate the flow of vehicles heading to Plano Piloto.
Subsequently, the track towards Plano Piloto will be repaired. She will therefore be isolated until Wednesday morning to complete the work.
