The President of the House, Deputy Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), will need the support of all members of the Board of Directors to withdraw the mandate of Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) due to absence.
Even if the internal regulations of the Chamber provide that absence is punished by loss of office, it is necessary that the seven members of the command of the Chamber sign the document. Eduardo has not worked since March, when he fled to the United States to try to avoid the same fate as his father.

“Motta leaves, Glauber stays”: the protest occupies the hemicycle the day after the confusion
Given what happened between this Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday (11/12), Motta may not obtain the necessary support to declare the loss of the mandate of the son of Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
At least two of the seven members of the board of directors voted against initially: Altineu Côrtes (PL-RJ) and Elmar Nascimento (União-BA). And it won’t be difficult to convince two more.
The votes to save an imprisoned MP (Carla Zambelli) and an MP who punched a political opponent in the House chamber (Glauber Braga) are manifestations of party discontent with Motta. On the run, Alexandre Ramagem (PL-RJ) has not yet escaped beheading because the vote on his case will take place next week.
No president puts a sensitive agenda to a vote without knowing whether he has the votes necessary to approve it. Either Motta was betrayed, or he showed amateurism which will cost him dearly. There is even talk of a joint movement between the PT and the PL to remove him from his post. Motta broke with the leaders of both parties.
The immediate consequence of the votes is that if the government wants to approve an issue in the House, it has no one else to negotiate with. Motta lost the conditions to guarantee approval of any proposal.
It will be up to Planalto to get into the details and negotiate the vote with each deputy or senator. The country has already experienced this. This resulted in the monthly allocation, the Petrolão, the secret budget, the Pix amendment…
As the chronicle shows, the operation to save Glauber is already a free sample. From Planalto, one floor away from Lula’s office, André Ceciliano of the Ministry of Institutional Relations blackmailed lower-clergy deputies into voting with the government if they wanted money during an election year.
The government will use the opportunity to weaken the current composition of forces in Congress and the Supreme Court. Hugo Motta has already been drawn. The power of Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP) begins to deteriorate. For the first time, the government measured its forces with him by ignoring him on the vacancy in the Supreme Court and, yesterday, Alcolumbre began to challenge his decisions in plenary.
Lula spent the first three years of his government in hiding. This now shows, less than a year before the elections, that Lula is more than ever.
