Ivy says that over time, she began to notice a pattern in the statements she was receiving, which led her to take the topic more seriously. “There are women who write to me to tell me that they have never felt an orgasm. Some talk about it with guilt, others with shame, as if it was their mistake. What struck me the most was the realization that many have spent their entire lives without feeling allowed to talk about pleasure, not even to themselves,” she says.

The influencer explains that the intimate collection she presented is part of a research process, which she describes as a “laboratory”. According to Ivy, the objective is to test different models in order, in the future, to develop a product specially designed for mature women.
“When I heard these reports, I realized that the issue was more than curiosity or simple consumption of a product,” he says. “It was about opening a conversation that never happened. In many cases, the silence was greater than the lack of information,” he adds.
For Ivy, the number of messages received reveals the extent to which female pleasure remains taboo, especially when it comes to older women.
“There is shame around sex after 50, as if desire has an expiration date,” he commented. She also pointed out a form of digital ageism, which excludes mature women from discussions about sexuality. “When we ignore this issue, we reinforce the idea that a woman’s body only matters when she is young. This needs to change,” he concludes.
