The INSS CPMI will vote on the recall of President Lula’s son

The president of the Joint Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPMI) of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), Senator Carlos Viana (Podemos-MG), announced via social media, on Tuesday (2/12), that the summons of Fabio Luís Lula da Silva, known as Lolinha, will be discussed at the hearing on Thursday (4/12) at the College. The request was submitted by MP Marcel van Hatem (Novo-RS).

The request, sent to the Commission on Tuesday, alleges possible links between President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s (PT) son and operators of the illegal pension deduction scheme.

The request is based on financial transactions involving ADS Soluções – identified by the investigation as the central part of “INSS Farra”, revealed Capitals – PT National IT Coordinator, Ricardo Bembo, and Lulinha Accountant, João Muniz Leite.

According to the document, the accountant received a payment from Bimbo in the same period that ADS transferred millions to Datacore, a company linked to the PT leader.

Lulinha has not been investigated

Although there is no formal investigation against Lulinya, the applicants say it needs to be made clear whether he was aware of these accounting relationships and whether his financial structure was used, directly or indirectly, by the operators of the scheme.

Through a post on X, Senator Carlos Viana stated that each request will be voted on individually and will appear on the session board.

“I announce that I will include in Thursday’s agenda the invitation of Fabio Luís Lula da Silva to testify before the INSS CPMI. I explain that each request will be voted on individually, so that Brazil can see, in full transparency, how each parliamentarian voted. The truth will emerge on the committee.
