Internacional has started an important negotiation in the market and has decided on the transfer of one of its young attackers to Middle Eastern football. The deal is already in place, all that’s left to do is take the final steps to make it official.
Inter have reached an agreement to sell Ricardo Mathias to Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia. The centre-forward, aged just 19, has already boarded the country, undergone medical assessments and is awaiting public confirmation of his transfer. The value of the operation is approximately 10 million euros, an amount that corresponds to approximately R$65.6 million.
Rights division defines Inter values
Holding 60% of the player’s economic rights, the Rio Grande do Sul club will hold the majority of negotiations. Ferroviária, which owns the remaining 40%, will also benefit. With this division, Internacional stands to pocket just over 39 million reais net from the sale.
Rapid rise of the main cast
A graduate of the Colorado youth teams, Ricardo Mathias was promoted to the professional team last year. In 2025, he gains places more regularly, continues his streaks among the incumbents and even surpasses the experienced names of the group in the fight for the place. Prior to the Al Ahli deal, the striker had also attracted interest from another Saudi club, Al-Nassr.
Ricardo Mathias’ figures for Inter
In total, the young striker made 35 appearances for Inter’s first team, scoring seven goals and providing one assist. The negotiation strengthens the club’s cash flow in a season marked by significant movements on the market. In addition to this sale, Colorado management is working to finalize another important transfer, with the possible departure of defender Vitão to Flamengo.
