Regarding the province of Córdoba, 15 works have been put out to tender worth 1.3 million euros. The intervention that will be carried out at the IES Alto Guadiato in Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo stands out, for a value greater than 300,000 euros. The objective of the work is to provide the educational center with the necessary workshops so that it can teach the Medium Diploma Training Cycle (CFGM) Welding and Boilermaking Technicianof the Mechanical Manufacturing family.
Currently, it has a multipurpose classroom and a testing laboratory for this teaching, but it lacks workshops. Thus, in 2025, a call for tenders was launched for the works of a new Secondary Education Institute in the municipality of Benalmádena (Málaga) and another new IES in the Soliva district of the capital Málaga, both already under construction. In addition, a new high school is being built in the Las Marinas neighborhood, in Roquetas de Mar, Almería; the completion of a new IES in Dos Hermanas (Seville) and the second phase of the new Entrenúcleos Childhood and Primary Education Center (CEIP), also in Dos Hermanas.
Regarding reforms and improvements, among the works launched in 2025, around 80 interventions aimed at improving accessibility, eliminating architectural barriers and creating spaces adapted to the environment stand out. students with special needs.
