Luis Brandoni, actor who was on the set with Héctor Alterio in films such as “La Tregua” and “La Patagonia Rebelde”, remembered the late actor this morning with words of praise for his career in film and theater.
“A great sadness. Hector lived a very intense, very happy life, in his first years in the independent theater and later in the commercial theater. He did very important things, he was a great actor, and at the age of 96 he said goodbye to us,” said Brandoni in communication with the TN station.
Brandoni also remembered the moment when Alterio had to go into exile due to the death threats he received. “He settled in Spain almost involuntarily (…) Héctor Alterio was one of the five threatened by Triple A. He was at the San Sebastián Festival and presented La Tregua and stayed in Spain,” he said.
