The PSOE of Cordoba announced this afternoon that the mayor of Belalcázar, Francisco Luis Fernández, decided to “immediately cede all his organic and institutional functions following the information that appeared” on messages of sexual harassment to a municipal employee, as declared. … as ABC exclusively revealed.
However, almost a month ago, the current youth councilor of the municipality of Belalcázar, the socialist David Guerreromade public on his social networks that he had been elected secretary general of the PSOE in the city, precisely replacing the councilor who resigned a few minutes ago. This newspaper was also able to confirm it from sources internal to the local group itself.
Guerrero stressed that the day November 14 “I was elected general secretary” during a local assembly and after which, he commented, “I am accompanied in this new stage by four colleagues with whom to face the organizational and political challenges that await us”.
Advertising This completely contradicts what the PSOE of Cordoba broadcast this afternoon -after hours of silence- and of the advisor himself: the resignation of all organic and institutional positions. Fernández would resign from his position as general secretary of the city, but according to this information from the Youth councilor himself, he would have already done so a month ago.
The Secretary General of the PSOE of Cordoba, Rafi Crespinwho did not want to respond to this newspaper’s call throughout this Friday, responded on the social network “The PSOE of Cordoba is more a matter of doing than saying. ‘You will know them by their deeds.'”
“Our commitment is to work now on a serious and constructive project for our Group and our municipality, thinking about its future. I thank activism for the trust shown “and I reiterate that I am available to everyone to continue moving forward together.” It is even striking that in Guerrero’s announcement – from Socialist Youth – on a social network, he receives the support of a member of the socialist provincial executive of Córdoba.
