The mayor of Viamao, Rafael Bortoleti Dalla Nora, and his deputy, Marcel “Maninho” Faurie Bergmann, will remain in their positions while the process continues. This decision comes after the Regional Electoral Tribunal of Rio Grande do Sul (TRE-RS), by a vote of 4 to 3, annulled the elected card certificates.
