A 22-year-old young man, identified as Kauan Victor da Silva, died in combat during the war in Ukraine. A resident of Anápolis (GO), he volunteered to support Ukrainian forces in August this year.
News of the death was shared by friends and family on social media, who paid tribute in posts this Saturday (13/12).
A friend of the young man, Lucas Mendes, posted on his profile that his disappearance from the networks was “strange” and suspected that something had happened. When he learned of her death, he paid tribute to her.

In the message he emphasizes that it still “vibrates” and recalls a message sent by Anapolino before entering the war.
“The mission will be accomplished, brother.”
A relative of the young man emphasized that his dream was to serve in the army. In Brazil, he worked as a sushi chef in an oriental restaurant in the city.
“One day you said you were going to join the army, but I never imagined it would be like this to receive this news, rest in peace, strength to our family,” he said.
Another acquaintance of Kauan noted the honor of the young man’s participation in the fight. “Soldiers never die, they just go on missions beyond our reach. The team will never be the same,” he said.
