It was around 6:30 a.m. this morning when officers received an alert about a fight inside the home.
Several Catalan Police patrols, as well as members of the Emergency Medical System (SEM), went to the scene of the event. When they arrived, they found the woman’s lifeless body, bearing signs of violence.
On the same floor, they found the suspect, aged 46, detained by Citizen Security agents due to his connection with the victim’s death. The Criminal Investigation Division took charge of investigations to elucidate the event, which is being investigated as a case of gender-based violence.
For its part, the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) reported that the Hospitalet de Llobregat court for violence against women had an open file for this offense.
