Missão, a party founded by the Movimento Brasil Livre (MBL) and made official in October, declared to the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) the first real received as a contribution from one of its members.
The party said it received exactly R$1 on December 1, paid by Victor Souza Lopes de Couto, a party member and former employee in the office of state deputy Guto Zacarias (União-SP).
To date, the party has not declared any expenditure to the TSE. The newly founded party does not have access to the electoral fund, as it has not yet participated in any national elections.
Missão’s main objective in 2026 is precisely to overcome the barrier clause in the October elections. To do this, you must obtain at least 2% of the valid votes nationally or elect at least 11 federal deputies in at least nine states.
As the column shows, MP Kim Kataguiri (União-SP), one of the main leaders of the MBL and who is expected to join Missão, is considering running for the government of São Paulo to try to promote the election of the party’s parliamentarians.
