The official dollar closed at $1,420 to buy and $1,480 to sell in the Banco Nación quote, an increase of $5 compared to Monday’s close.
At banks, the average retail exchange rate was between $1,470 and $1,480 for sale. The highest price was reached at $1,485.
The price of the blue dollar is at $1,425 for purchase and $1,445 for sale, without recording any changes in its price. The wholesale price of the dollar reached $1,456.5, up 0.4%, and was 55 pesos away from the exchange rate ceiling (today at $1,511.98).
For its part, the financial exchange rate increased by 0.31% to $1479.3, and the CCL (cash with settlement) recorded an increase of 00.27% to $1521.2.
The Standard & Poor’s Merval index of blue-chip companies listed on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange closed lower, while the majority of New York’s ADR indices also ran negative.
The Standard & Poor’s Merval index fell 0.6 percent to 3,042,000.53 points.
In general securities, the AL30 rose 0.3% and the AL35 rose 0.8%; While Qatari risks fell to 647 points, as measured by JP Morgan.
