The regulation applies throughout the month and is linked to the lower vehicle traffic during the summer season due to school holidays and the reduction in work activity.
The municipality of La Plata reported that the paid parking system will operate with reduced hours starting January 1st. The regulation applies from Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The decision is based on the decrease in traffic that is usually experienced in summer, when many activities are suspended or take place at a lower intensity due to the holidays.
In addition, the authorities reminded that users can view the different payment methods and obtain additional information through the QR codes available on the parking signs posted on public streets.
