The councilor for the celebrations of Talavera de la Reina, María Pilar Guerrero, encouraged all Talaverians and visitors to enjoy the Grand Parade of the Three Kings 2026, which will leave from the Prado Basilica of Talavera de la Reina in … 6:30 p.m. next Monday, January 5.
The parade will be made up of a total of 13 floats, one more than in 2025. The three Magi of the East: Melchior, Gaspar and Baltasar will be followed by 10 others. Like other years, the parade will also have entertainment, dance academies, several inflatable structures, in addition to the train included so that the little ones can enjoy it and 4,000 kilograms of gluten-free sweets that will be distributed throughout the route.
From the Department of Celebrations, they thank the participation and will of the different neighborhood associations that participated, as well as the dance academies of our city.
They will be present at the parade SpongeBob, Minecraft, Snow White, Dogman, elves, circus. Added to this are the charcoal burners and the traditional gate of Bethlehem, the town hall said in a press release.
The parade will return from the Notre-Dame du Prado Basilica, where at 6 p.m. Their Majesties the Kings will pay homage to our Patroness, the Virgin of the Prado, and will address a few words to the Talavera children.
The route will be the same as last year, from Avenida de Extremadura, Avda. Juan Carlos I, Avda. Pius XII, Plaza de España, Avda. Pío Jesus and will receive all the children who want to come and greet them.
Finally, the winning children of the XIX Letters to the Three Kings Competition will read their requests to Their Majesties, who will present the prizes of the various competitions and greet all the children of the city.
