With an investment of R$3.6 million, the renovation of the Planaltina Community Restaurant (DF) is completed and the space will reopen this Tuesday (12/9). The maintenance, which lasted 7 months, aimed to improve the structure to offer quality service and expand the menu.
The restaurant, located in the Recreational and Cultural Sector, near the Planaltina Olympic Center (DF), is expected to reopen at 11:00 a.m. in the presence of the Secretary of Social Development of the Federal District (Sedes-DF), Ana Paula Marra. The place had updated bathrooms, electrical and plumbing, and new paint.
The steel doors were changed and the office enlarged. Also on the list of renovated items, the kitchen’s prep space and stainless steel counters were also replaced. Finally, a new cold room was built to meet greater demand for meals.
Offering a full day meal with breakfast, lunch and dinner for R$0.50, R$1 and R$0.50 respectively, the restaurant is one of the oldest in the Federal District (DF) and has not undergone renovation in 19 years, since its opening on March 28, 2006.
