The president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, assured that the political moment that Spain is going through ““This cannot be considered left-wing.”knowing that the sum of the political forces which support him “It’s right-wing.”
This was declared during … his intervention in the signing of the “Castilla-La Mancha pact”. Horizon 2030′, an agreement signed with trade unions and employers’ organizations, in which reference is made to the result of the general elections of July 23, 2023 as a turning point in the current political scenario.
In this context, Page indicated that, when asked by journalists about a possible end of the political cycle, his opinion is that this “It’s already over with the result of the 2023 legislative elections“. “Today, the sum is already to the right, it is not a cycle that could be considered to be to the left,” he reiterated.
However, the regional president differentiated this situation from the possibility that “the Government concludes a pact with the right or the extreme right, in this case pro-independence”, a circumstance which he considered different.
Likewise, García-Page warned against the existence of a “judicial cycle” in Spain that, if this progresses as it seems, “it will not only put politics in danger, but influence an entire era“. In this sense, he emphasized that ““What may be at risk is probably not just a political cycle, but a whole stage.”.
Finally, the head of the regional Executive declared that he does not know “what the end will be” of the current situation, even if he assured to be clear about “what was the beginning”. “The answer is not in the result, but in the principles, in their absence or in the principles as origin. This is the answer,” he concluded.
