The Popular Party would win the elections in Castile and León, according to a new electoral poll published Tuesday by the Leonese newspaper La Nueva Crónica. This new survey for the March 2026 elections suggests that the PP, even if he would lose two … seats compared to 2022would remain the winner with 29, even if it would once again be forced to come to an agreement with Vox, the party which would reap the largest increase, going from thirteen to 19 lawyers.
In the case of The PSOE loses three seats and would end up with 25 compared to 28 in the previous elections. It turns out that, according to this investigation, the Socialists would lose the only lawyer they currently have in Soria, which would mean that their candidate for Council President, Carlos Martinezwould be excluded from the regional Parliament if he maintains his intention to run in the elections of this province as he announced.
The survey conducted by SyM Consulting predicts that the provincial parties would manage to maintain their representativeness. Thus, the Unión del Pueblo Leonés would keep its three parliamentarians, just like ¡Soria Ya!, while Por Ávila would continue with just one. Ciudadanos would also retain the provincial seat of Valladolid, like Podemos.
With this panorama, the popular Alfonso Fernández Mañueco would be forced to deal with Vox to govern, a formation that could obtain one more prosecutor than in 2022 in seven of the nine provinces of the Community. In Valladolid, for example, the ranking places Abascal’s party with three or four seats, while in León it gives two or three.
