The Andalusian People’s Party will defend a non-legislative proposal in the parliamentary committee on Thursday in which it demands that the central government recognizes educational actions and policies developed by the Junta de Andalucía “without the corresponding funding speak … the State, in order to guarantee Andalusians the fair treatment established by law.
The Central Executive is asked to “put in place the necessary mechanisms to allocate sufficient economic resources”, ensure equal treatment between all citizens and respect for the constitutional principle of equity, and which make it possible to cover the costs linked to the provision of educational services.
So, in terms of scholarshipsit is requested to include in the annual collaboration agreements between the competent ministry and the autonomous community a specific clause that guarantees financial compensation for expenses derived from the management of scholarships intended for non-university students, proportional to the volume of applications and the functions assumed.
Andalusia demands fair treatment
The National Executive is also required to pay the sums already committed under conditions of equity with other autonomous communities, such as Catalonia.
About the first cycle of early childhood educationa transfer of 112 million euros European funds planned for this level of education, in order to allocate them to free up existing places and avoid their return to the European Commission.
In Vocational trainingThe PP-A asks the central government to allocate an annual allocation of 22 million euros for the needs of the dual model, to assume the contributions of students on internship (more than 3 million euros annually) and to allocate an additional 32 million to finance the integration of technical teachers.
Likewise, it is requested a national infrastructure renewal plan educational, with sufficient funding and equitable distribution criteria among the autonomous communities, giving priority to rural areas, vulnerable neighborhoods and environments with high educational demand.
Another requirement is “compliance by the government of the nation with the commitment made by the air conditioning plan for schools announced in 2021, providing it with the necessary budgetary allocation to cooperate with the autonomous communities.
Likewise, it is requested to convene “the in-person Education Sector Conferenceas a body for coordination, cooperation and real participation of the autonomous communities, replacing the current communication system, by email.”
