The match between Minas Brasília and Centro Olímpico-SP, valid for the second round of the 2025 Women’s Cup, ended 0-0 at the Nicolau Alayon Stadium, in São Paulo (SP). However, what caught the attention was the double error of referee Ariana Manfredi Leite.
Player Analu, number 6 of the Candango team, received two yellow cards and was not sent off the field.
The first refereeing error occurred 18 minutes into the second half. After the player complained about a foul and kicked the ball away, Ariana gave Analu a yellow card. However, the referee did not record the penalty on the scoresheet.
The second mistake occurred 45 minutes into the second half. In a counterattack from the left, Isabelly, from Centro Olímpico-SP, was brought down near the box line by Analu.
The referee showed the Candanga player a yellow card and, therefore, she should have been sent off the field. However, the referee did not note the first card and the athlete remained on the playing field.

The report of Metropolises verified, in the summary available on the São Paulo Federation website, that only the yellow card was given to Analu in the 45th minute of the second half.
