Federal judge Macário Júdice Neto, of the Regional Federal Court of the 2nd Region (TRF-2), arrived this Tuesday around 8 a.m. at the headquarters of the federal police, in the center of Rio de Janeiro, aboard an unmarked vehicle. He wore a navy blue shirt with small white polka dots and was taken there to make a statement as part of Operation Nail and Flesh 2, launched recently by the PF in Rio.

The Federal Police issued an arrest warrant against the magistrate, identified as the central target of the new phase of the operation, which is investigating the leak of confidential information in favor of members of the Red Command. The offensive is an offshoot of the first stage of Unha e Carne, which resulted in the arrest of the former president of the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro (Alerj), Rodrigo Bacellar.
