The second phase of the CNU (Unified National Competition), organized this Sunday (7), recorded an abstention rate of 20%. In total, 8,508 people did not attend the test, according to Minister Esther Dweck of Management and Innovation.
In total, 42 thousand candidates advanced to the second round, with an abstention percentage lower than the 42.8% in the first round.
“This forecast is in line with expectations for a competition that includes two events, but it is much lower than the absences that occurred during the first phase. This reinforces the consolidation of a competition model,” said Esther.
The minister also said that there have been no incidents at this stage, which she said is the result of joint planning with the PF, PRF and the National Secretariat of Public Security.
The discursive test for senior-level positions included two questions each worth 22.5 points, totaling 45 points. For mid-level positions, the assessment consisted of an argumentative essay worth up to 30 points. Testing took place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for senior-level positions and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for mid-level positions.
In total, 57.12% of people summoned for the second phase were women, compared to 43.86% men. This edition brought positive action to increase gender equality among the winners, since, during the first edition of the competition, women were in the minority.
This Sunday’s tests took place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for senior level positions and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for intermediate level positions.
The second stage of the event saw changes in the security system following fraud regarding the 2024 edition and an investigation into the leak of this year’s Enem (national high school exam) questions, which were canceled.
The publication of the preliminary score of the discursive test and the correction mirror of the test is scheduled for January 23. The first call for classified ads should take place two days later, on February 20.
