The Golden Globes announced this Monday (8) that “The Secret Agent” was nominated in three categories for its 83rd edition: best dramatic film, best foreign language film and best actor, for Wagner Moura. This is the first time that a Brazilian production enters the main category and competes for three trophies in the same edition of the award.
In the dramatic film category, the production of Kleber Mendonça Filho will compete for the trophy with “Frankenstein”, “Hamnet”, “Pecadores” – blockbuster nominated for seven awards -, “Foi Só Um Acidente” – with four nominations – and “Valor Sentimental” – with eight nominations.
