Buses in the capital São Paulo are running normally early this Wednesday morning (10/12), after stopping for almost five hours on Tuesday (9).
The strike began around 5:00 p.m. and ended at 9:50 p.m., after a meeting attended by Mayor Ricardo Nunes (MDB), secretaries of the municipal management, representatives of the drivers’ and collectors’ unions (SindMotoristas) and public urban passenger transport companies (SPUrbanuss).
Finally, the mayor said that dealers must make payment before next Friday (12). Failing this, they will be subject to confiscation proceedings and their contracts with the town hall may be suspended.
Update.
