In 2025, striker Paulo Baya received opportunities at clubs in the Serie A of the Brazilian Championship, such as Fluminense and Ceará. During the season, the player joined the Tricolor Carioca team in the FIFA Club World Cup, held in the United States.
At 26, Paulo Baya is under contract with Primavera, from Indaiatuba, until December 31, 2028. The club will play in the first division of the Campeonato Paulista for the first time in its 99-year history. Over the past three years, the athlete has been on loan from the São Paulo interior team to clubs of national importance.
Revealed by Paraná native Cascavel in 2017, the striker was signed by Primavera in 2023. That year, he scored three goals in 11 matches for the club, in that year’s A2 Paulistão competition.
Also in 2023, he was loaned to Ponte Preta, where he scored two goals in 24 matches. The following year he was loaned out again, this time to Goiás, experiencing the best moment of his career. In 2024, he played 46 matches and scored 18 goals for Esmeraldino.
This performance caught the attention of Fluminense, who agreed to loan the player for the 2025 season. For the Rio club, Paulo Baya scored one goal in nine matches.
After leaving Fluminense, the striker wore the jersey of Ceará, where he played 16 matches, but did not find the net. With that, he returned to Primavera.
In 2026, the player returns to defend the Indaiatuba club after three consecutive years on loan, bringing with him the experience of having participated in a FIFA Club World Cup.
Primavera begins in Paulistão on the 10th, against Guarani, at 6:30 p.m. (Brasília time), at the Brinco de Ouro da Princesa. Next season, the club will also participate in the Copa do Brasil for the first time in its history.
