The weather in La Plata and surrounding areas this Wednesday is with partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies towards night and the likelihood of strong storms. According to the National Meteorological Service (SMN), light winds and elevated temperatures are also expected, ranging between 17°C and 27°C.
According to the official body, the yellow alert could mean that “the area will be affected by storms of varying intensity, some of them locally strong. They will be accompanied by frequent electrical activity, occasional hail, gusts that can occasionally reach 70 km/h and abundant waterfalls in short periods.”
The forecast assumes “accumulated precipitation values between 20 and 50 mm, which may be exceeded at times”.

Cloudy skies are expected for Thursday with a chance of early morning showers and isolated storms in the afternoon, light winds and a minimum temperature of 22°C and a maximum of 29°C.
Meanwhile, Friday will see an improvement in the weather with barely cloudy skies, light winds and a minimum temperature of 22°C and a maximum of 32°C, SMN reported.
