The alleged criminal organization linked to the hydrocarbon sector, led by Víctor de Aldama and his associate, Claudio Rivas, penetrated the management levels of up to three ministries, according to the latest report presented by the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the State. … Civil Guard to the judge of the National Court, Ismael Moreno.
According to the said report provided on file, in which Former Minister José Luis Ábalos is not currently on the list of those under investigationthere are “numerous clues” which point to possible “penetration of the criminal organization at the level of the management of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Ecological Transition”.
La Benemérita considers that it is proven that said “infiltration” would have had the objective, as Víctor de Aldama and the businesswoman Carmen Pano have already argued in their statements before the National Tribunal and before the Supreme Court, that the company Villafuel, of Aldama’s partner Claudio Rivas, obtained authorization to operate in the wholesale hydrocarbon market “despite non-compliance with legal requirements”. To this end, as was already mentioned during the initial investigation into the mask contracts against Ábalos, Aldama and Koldo García, the latter allegedly requested a meeting with Carlos Moreno, the chief of staff of the Minister of Industry, María Jesús Montero.

She told her partner, Natán González, another member of the alleged organization: “Son of a bitch, the prostitute.” It was a case of house-robbing and pushing a button. ”

“The perception of the success of the influence exercised by José Luis Ábalos in favor of the interests of the criminal organization was gradually confirmed, and more evidently when in June 2021, believing that the favorable resolution of the case was imminent, those responsible for the criminal organization ordered to activate the payment of the agreed economic compensation, formalizing the purchase of the house chosen by José Luis Ábalos and ordering two bank transfers to the account of the MTM company 180 Capital SL, administered by Víctor de Aldama, for a total amount of 292,416.66 euros”, indicates the UCO report.

Finally, as the people investigated did not obtain the desired permit, they began sending messages to José Luis Ábalos to warn him that the monthly payments for the house were not being paid (as a warning, since the rent was fictitious since the full price of the house had been paid through the company Have Got Time). Subsequently, Rivas threatened to take legal action against the former minister, who, at the start of all the investigated operations, had even been able to choose the house among several close to the luxurious urbanization of Sotogrande.
The content of these 2021 conversations was found in different cell phones seized in December last year, as also revealed by the Civil Guard in its investigations.
