A 36-year-old man was arrested on Thursday (4/12) on Avenida Brasil, in Cubatao, on the coast of São Paulo, accused of raping his niece for three years.

According to the Civil Police, the crimes began in 2021, when the victim was 13 years old and was under his custody.
The minor lived with her uncle between 2020 and 2024 because her mother lost custody of the teenager due to the aggression. It was she, the attacker’s sister, who reported the rape to the police.

The teenager told her mother that she was a victim of rape when she returned to her mother’s house in 2025.
According to the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), the man was taken to UPA Casqueiro for a forensic examination and then presented to court. The case was registered as the arrest of a wanted person in the 2nd DP District of Cubatao.
