
The Southern Command of the US Armed Forces released a video this Thursday (12/18) showing new bombings against two ships in the Pacific Ocean. The action left five people dead.

According to Southern Command, the vessels were operated by designated terrorist organizations and were involved in drug trafficking activities. Intelligence information indicated that the boats were sailing along known drug trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific region.

During the first attack, three men died. In the second, two more people were killed. The statement said all those killed were “male narcoterrorists.” According to the US Armed Forces, no US troops were injured during the operation.
According to the agency, the attacks were carried out by Joint Task Force Southern Spear, under the direction of Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, in international waters.
The new military action is part of the so-called Operation Southern Spear, which the US government says aims to combat drug trafficking and transnational criminal organizations on international maritime routes.
